DOA5LR: Tina School Girl Outfit Conversion
This one has a special place in my heart, or perhaps a haunting place. This was one of the first things I ripped and converted from DOA5: Last Round. I wasn't very good at converting. I was just glad I could get anything to work, honestly. So it was...a tragedy. lol It fit horribly, the texture quality was garbage, the bone assignments were probably abysmal. I even recall someone telling me it looked like the sim was wearing a barrel, which I know they meant to be teasingly funny but legit stuck with me in the years since then. lol
Now, I'm still not the best. Sometimes I convert something and, I won't lie, I think, "yep, good enough," and send it out there. But I am a lot more seasoned now and I do think this iteration of this particular conversion is so astronomically better than the first one, that it's hard to image the same person did both. I actually have a backlog of my old DOA conversions that I'd like to re-do. I was so giddy back then that I was just blasting 'em out. I'm pretty sure the folder is 70+ items long. And my ADHD only sometimes allows me to hyperfixate on converting stuff or making anything for TS3, so ya know...maybe we'll make a slight dent in that list in the next 10 years.
Anyway, ramble ramble ramble yada yada yada here it is now! It's very cute. It fits much better, the bones are much better (though I still don't quite ever get the bones perfect). Even the texture is better!
I liked it so much this time around, that I even made a version that is suspender-less. I prefer this one. But I wanted to keep the design of the original, so I didn't want to just make my preferred version.

Notes:
- The bottom is open and underwear is not provided. I recommend accessory underwear if you wish to be modest.
- There are 3 presets. 1 is the base red plaid, then I made a blue recolor of that, a pink recolor, and a completely recolorable version.
- Like almost everything I make, this is for Young Adult and Adult Female Sims.
- Categories are Everyday, Career, and Maternity.

I'm late because I didn't even really think to say anything, but since I convert so many clothing pieces from DOA, I feel it'd be remiss of me not to say this: Rest in Peace Itagaki-san. Thank you for giving the world one of the best fighting games of all time. And lowkey some of the best volleyball games of all time, too!
